Welcome to the survey platform for the “Rolling Pharmacy Cost Study” (RoKA)!
The Rolling Pharmacy Cost Study (RoKA) is an annual company survey of all Swiss pharmacies that have joined the LOA contract.
The survey is now being carried out on the specially provided APOS survey platform in order to make participation as easy as possible for pharmacies and also to generate the greatest possible added value for the participating pharmacies.
The survey was commissioned by the Swiss Pharmacy Association pharmaSuisse, and BAK Economics is now responsible for implementing the survey.

Frequently Asked Questions
A: On the one hand, the anonymized and aggregated data gives the Swiss Pharmacy Association pharmaSuisse the basis to represent the interests of pharmacies in the best possible way. On the other hand, two individual reports are made available to participating pharmacies. One report, which is sent immediately after participation, evaluates the answers in relation to the response history. After completing the survey, the pharmacies also receive individual benchmarking.
A: Your individual answers are only used for the individual reports; pharmaSuisse only receives aggregated and therefore anonymized data. Your answers are stored in Switzerland under the highest data protection and security standards.
A: Participation takes place via the APOS survey platform. Participating pharmacies receive an access code for the platform by post, and after entering an initial password, the password can be freely chosen – please save this in a safe place.
A: You will automatically be sent a separate questionnaire, and you can participate as usual via the platform.
A: RoKA is the only source from which the Swiss Pharmacists Association external site pharmaSuisse receives information from its members' annual financial statements. It is only interested in the aggregated and anonymized evaluations, not in the figures for a single pharmacy. This means that the data from several pharmacies is summarized or averages are calculated. The aggregated data is regularly used by pharmaSuisse to represent the profession of pharmacists in politics and the media, for example to demonstrate the influence of price reductions or to be able to present its own facts in tariff negotiations with insurers. For data protection reasons, pharmaSuisse does not have access to your individual information.
A: Please note the schedule.
A: If there are no specific reasons for exemption (see last question), signatories of the Download Collective Agreement LOA IV/1 (PDF, 14.7 MB) will receive a postal invitation from the economic research institute BAK Economics to take part in the RoKA survey at the beginning of September. The procedure is described in it.
A: You can set a new password on the portal at any time.
A: Please request the relevant information via the portal.
A: All questions refer to the last fully completed financial year.
A: The RoKA survey consists of the 'Statistics and Structure' questionnaire (with questions about employees, services and premises, etc.) and the 'Accounting' questionnaire. Your information on the operational structure will be taken from the previous year if possible and only needs to be updated if it has changed in the meantime. You can answer the accounting questions using your figures from your pharmacy's annual financial statements.
A: Delegation is easy in the portal.
